Two houses to myself and nothing to wear. [May. 15th, 2004|10:49 am]
Chaz Meyers
These upcoming few days are going to be hectic.

Yesterday, I worked my last day at the Dental School, at least for the summer, and possibly forever.

After work, Chris and two of his friends showed up with pickups to help me move my furnature out of the city of Philadelphia and back to the suburbs of Philadelphia. Heh. Everything is loitered in the living room right now, though, since I didn't have a chance to clear space beforehand. I'm torn between reclaiming my old room versus making the basement my own. Both are going to be huge projects. The basement room would be much, much bigger. I can't remember if it has windows, though. That could get blah-esk. Also, I don't know how I would set up the networking. We would have computers at two extremes of the house. On the other hand, I have no clue if my furnature will fit into my old room. That, and I kinda feel bad kicking my brother back into his old closet room.

Grades are posted. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not going to give a break down, since it is still less than a 3.0. I need to stop throwing away semesters like this. I can't always count on lucking out like how I did so many other times.

I'm really not looking forward to summer courses. It's better that I'm taking Physics 2 now, though, since it is impossible to schedule classes with recitations, labs, and lectures. I am hoping the Databases course starting on Monday will be interesting. The professor was in the networking class djrust and I were in this semester, for reasons we have yet to comprehend. I would provide a link to the course website, but it is protected by an .htaccess file. (wtf?)

The past few days I've been working making a new library in perl which could turn out to be something cool. I don't want to write about it now, though, since that'll jinx it. :-P It's not quite planned out right, anyway.

Seriously, though... anyone in the area tomorrow, I could really use your help getting the house situated.
