This week was my first week working every day. Let me tell you this: it sucks big donkey balls. I guess it'll be worth it next Friday when I get this week's pay check, though. For some reason, I can't concentrate in there, so I can't really learn or read much. Bloody shyte. Flash, in particular, is frustrating me. Can't get mah damn tweens workin' right. :-p Probably has something to do with the cold.
People should start being online while I'm at work. I've already read through all of the comics available on Marvel.com, Peanuts.com, and Dilbert.com. Heeeelp! :)
Actually, I think I'm starting to get bored with the Internet. Not the developing end, but moreso AIM, LiveJournal, and other "chatty" things . Feels like the ratio of Intelligent Thought to Teenybopper Stupidity is upsettingly low. I blame AOHell mostly for that. I miss the good ol' days of Usenet. There, you could find quality discussion any time of the day. I still find email to be interesting, since that one can actually put thought into rather than trying to churn out a quick answer with hip acronyms
Dr. Fielding wants me to do a house call to fix his printer. I told him I would do it, but I think I'm going to just tell him I'm busy (which is true) and can't do it. He offered to pay me and all, but the man really creeps me out. If he's willing to wait until after George is over, I might do it. Otherwise, nope.
George M. is tugging along. I tend to get kinda disappointed towards this part of a production because I think, "Um. OK. Not in that. Not in that. Not in that either. Aw, man. That one looks so fun. Drat." I guess I still am kinda like that, but I really enjoy a few of the things I'm in, so it kinda makes up for everything.
I feel like kind of a recluse in this cast. Feels like everyone else knows each other much better and are closer and everything, and I'm sort of an outsider. Blah. That's another thing that tends to hit me around this part of the production.
Windows 2000 has been giving me headaches lately. See, with Win2k, you have more than one user and each user has their own desktop, printers, dial up settings, etc. I can't for the life of me rig it up so I set up dial up (Internet) in one place and have it automatically be set up when other users use the computer. For example, I want to be able to set it up so my Mom, who hasn't used this computer yet, can just type in a URL and it'll automatically dial to Erols and be cool like that without me manually setting that up for her. Instead, it's trying to dial to LP1 (printer port? ethernet?) instead of my modem, and it keeps on screwing up the password too. Fuck?
Tomorrow Aymon finally gets to meet Hollie and vice versa. They are being good samaritans and are helping me clean my room so Comcast can come in and rig me room up with a cable connection without tripping over shit and breaking their neck. Pretty nice of us, eh?
If I can ever find the time, I'm going to start doing some sort of Seal training dealio with Hollie and Matt. I think they want to try to recruit me eventually, but I don't think that's happening. :-p Nope, no siree bob.
