Hrm. I don't remember the last time I posted about life in general, so I guess I'll start with Friday.
George M went well. Paul was sick in the hospital, which sucked, but Peter took over for him so life was good. Hollie insisted that Adam knew her, but he really didn't. ^.^;;
Dr. Fielding went to this one. Fortunately, he didn't talk to me there, else I might've freaked out. Scary scary man. He said that I consistantly upstaged people. Hah. This, coming from a dentist. What do dentists know? Certainly not how to pass medschool. ;)
After the show, we chilled with Alex and Laurie at Benigins. Good times.
Then, Saturday came around. Another performance. I thought this one was better, but that's just me. After the show, everyone went to Alex's. Not too bad.
Sunday, I rested. ;) No, I don't remember what I did on Sunday.
Then, I worked from Monday till Wednesday. Tuesday I chilled with Aymon and we caused all sorts of havoc. Trey bien.
Wednesday, on my way home, I was freezing and when I got home I went right to bed, slept until 7:30 when I had a brief dinner, and then proceeded to sleep until 6:30 this morning. Geez.
Today, I took off work since I still wasn't feeling too hot. Went to the doc's and had blood work done. I'll find out either tomorrow evening or Monday if I have mono or not. They put me on the z-pack and decongestant to combat my congestion and my swollen throat.
And, here I am. I am unsure if I'm going to work tomorrow. Part of me wants to sleep tomorrow so I can hopefully be better for tomorrow night's show. Another part of me doesn't want to take off for two days in a row.
I'm going to be teaching Hollie and my mom C. Ambitious of me, no? ;) I need to find a good book on the subject. I only took C in my sophmore year of high school. APCS in sr year was based on C++ and the one programing course I had at Temple was based on C++ as well. However, I think that it'll be better for them to learn C before they learn C++.
So, I need to find a book on C. I never read a book on the subject, so this might be hard. I'm tempted to perscribe an O'Reilly book or check out what Ingargiola is using for his C class.
