|Full of surprises.

Yesterday was full of surprising. First, after not going to class for about a week and a half, I go and find out that the last day of class is this week. I have a lot of papers to write and many books to read, I think. If the professor is going to accept them. Hm. We'll see.
Then, when I got to work, rather than being able to work on papers, I find out that every computer lab at Temple University has been stricken by the MSBlaster worm. It took a crazy amount of time to clean off the Dental School's lab because the machines kept on getting reinfected. That, and there seems to be no working local login on the machines, meaning to use the machine, it needs to be connected to the network, and thusly can be reinfected. Oh, and never turn off RPC. For some odd reason, "Remote Procedure Call" is horribly mislabeled and is necessary to have basic things like the start menu and desktop. Learned that one the hard way. Oops.
Well, I think I might have a final today. (Oh what? I don't know.) So, it would probably be a good idea if I left now to catch my bus.
On the positive side, having no classes from the end of this week until the end of the summer is probably a good thing. If I only had a week or so between the summer sessions and the fall semester, I think I would've been pretty grumpy.
