Friday was the housewarming party. Everyone I invited dropped at the last minute, which was pretty lame. The few people that did come over seemed to have a decent time, so in that respect it was a success. I'm just disapointed because I didn't get to see a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while.
Saturday, I spent the day trying to get Debian up and running. Didn't work out. I don't feel like writing out details, since I'm guessing most people aren't interested in reading about it, and I'm not interested in writing about it. I also lost my wallet on Saturday, but I'm not going to write about that yet because I didn't figure this out until Sunday.
Sunday, as I was about to head home to go to Rita's birthday party, I realized my wallet was nowhere to be found. Hence, the previous posting. I'm 99% sure that it's not in the house, so I cancelled my cards and stuff. Luckily, I was able to find $3.50 to get a train ride to the 'rents. I ended up showing up at Rita's about an hour before it was over. Saw Amy Sav for the first time in about a year, and Mike Byrnes was there too. Everyone else seemed to be pretty good friends while I didn't know anyone there too well, so I felt kind of alkward for bits, but it was something different, at least. Afterwards, I made plans to catch a movie with Michelle and Kim, but for some odd reason, when they called my phone didn't ring. Hm.
Today, I didn't get much done. Took some money out of the bank, as I am without ATM or debit access for the next 7-10 business days and I haven't found a branch near our house that I like. I tried to get a replacement license, but I forgot to ask my parents where they were keeping my birth certificate. Social security cards can only be replaced if you have photographic identification, apparantly. That covers everything that is relatively critical. Then there was work, which is where I am now.
I am going to be out in the suburbs tonight so I can take care of the license bit tomorrow, so if anyone wants to hang out some, they would most certainly rock.
I don't think I have anything else to write, so I won't.
