Thanksgiving dinner was great, though. I'm saying great because it was pointed out to me that I say "awesome" too much. Bah, meh.
I saw two movies today. First, I saw Matrix Revolutions. I am undecided on it right now. It was an entertaining movie, but a lot of it seemed unnecessary. Don't worry, I don't give out spoilers.
The highlight, though, was seeing a preview for "Return of the King". Ian Mc-Fucking Kellen leading the army. That's what I like to see. Did I mention that I saw the "Two Towers" commentary last week with margaritasoup? Merry and Pippin were pretty great, but Gimli made me cry of boredom! Dear lord. I don't know how Bitner eats up that stuff. He's a bigger man than I, for sure.
The second movie I definitely liked. Finally got to see Chicago. I think I liked the live version better, but this was still awefully great. I regret not seeing it on the big screen like how I would have liked to.
Wow. That ended with a preposition. That's not too hip.
My cousin has Firebird on this computer, which is both shocking and refreshing. +10.
Oh, and about that subject:
No Use, a la diveintomark.
Tears for Istanbul, a la Zeldman.
The true realization of the weekend thus far: I totally suck at first person shooter video games. Heh. Oops.
I feel like I haven't hung out with a lot of people in a long time. If you think you're in that list, you should get in touch with me so we can all have good times. If not soon, definitely before winter break ends. I have no time next semester. It is of my own undoing, but it makes me pouty none the less. :(
I need to find time to rewrite my RSS reader. Right now, it grabs feeds every hour (unless it is unchanged, when it just holds on to what it has) and dynamically parses the feed it has when I view it. But, slashdot, bbc, and nyt updates too frequently for that to work well for me. Need to make one that dumps the entries into a db of some sort. Meh. But no time. Maybe after Christmas. Until then, I'll stay mostly uninformed. :P
Okay. I'm going to go off and have something called "Oreo Pie", which hopefully isn't half as scary as it sounds.
OKAY I LOVE YOU BYE BYE </animaniacs>
