I bought a really awesome 17" Sony Flat Panel monitor but then returned it because I already had a 17" CRT and it was about 1/5 the price of the LCD monitor. I miss the clearer picture, but it was worth it since I'm going to need to pay for $500 of tuition out of pocket for the summer. Funnnnn.
The concert at the Kimmel went very well. The concert this Sunday at Rock Hall will not go as well. We hates this choir, precious. So many people bitching about stupid stuff like standing on risers? Gr. Why the hell are they even there?
Last lab for Ingargiola's class is due at 10:00pm. It works, sorta. That's good enough for me right now. Which is really uncharacteristic of me. Normally I'm a perfectionist. I don't know. This term I haven't really been satisfied with any of my labs.
I still have a few things left for the next week or so, but I have a few days to not panic.
For theatre, I have one more 2 page paper to write on Shakin' The Mess Out of Misery, which was an outstanding play, and a scene from a play written by Steve Martin called "Underpants". That play is okay, but I liked "Picasso at the Lapin Agile", another play Martin written, much more. In "Underpants"... it just seems a bit too weird for even my tastes. Lines are just thrown around just to get laughs, rather than seem like something that the characters would say. On the other hand, my opinion might be biased because I've only read this play, while I've seen "Picasso" twice. Hm..
In Ingargiola's class, there's just the final, which really scares me. There is no book for the class, and I've missed a lot of the second half of the term. Plus, I need to do well since I accidentially missed the second midterm. Blah.
For Networking, I have a lab and a final left. I'm not entirely sure what the lab is about, even though it was assigned a month ago. Maybe readiing the book will help. I have to do a fair amount of that anyway to prep for the final. This class doesn't concern me too much, although maybe it should. Word on the street is that we can write a paper on an attack to get extra credit. I guess I'll ask about that tomorrow.
And, lastly, Racism. I'm a bit behind in the readings, but assuming I can catch up with them, I'm going to be in a surprisingly good position in that class, unless if there's quizzes I accidentally missed or something. I really hate these readings, though. Ug. I hope the class as a whole opts for a test in class rather than a take-home essay. Not only will that give me more time to prep, but it also requires a much lighter analysis on the readings. I mean it when I say I hate almost everything that was assigned for reading in that class. Yuck.
That's pretty much all that's been on my mind lately, so there you have it.
