I started Physics 2 yesterday and it is clear that this class will be a culture shock when compared to last semester. My Databases professor was the type to take things personally, yell at people when they would not participate, and would see you after class to repremand you if you skipped class for any reason. There were two labs every week, and you'll bet that there was a seperate lab assignment for each lab date.
This Physics professor has a somewhat different approach. The lectures were MTWRF, but he's already cancelled all of the Wednesday lectures. Labs were MTR. He cancelled all but 7 labs. According to people who took him for Physics 1 while I was taking Databases, his lectures are optional. If you can get the homework problems, you will do fine on his tests.
It's a big change in culture.
Seussical is coming along. We are ahead of schedule, which rarely happens at Upper Darby. Stumble-throughs of Act I are going to start next week, which makes sense, since the show opens in less than a month. I have some complaints about the current state of the show, but I always have complaints about every state of every show I'm in, so they should not be taken too seriously. I guess I like complaining.
Either way, I have no class on my birthday so that makes me happy. I'm going to get some work done now. Bye bye.
