Have you seen the new redesign of SEPTA's website?

Things look a lot cleaner, but they made the old ugly train schedules even uglier and in PDF, making the site near useless now.

If you agree with me, complain to septaweb@septa.org.

In other news, I hate FrontPage. Someone else's abuse of it has stolen 4 hours of my life I will never get back.

Oh, and come see Seussical and One Acts. Seussical is July 30th and 31st, and August 6th and 7th. I think One Acts are August 3rd and 4th, but I'm not 100% sure on that. They're definitely sometime that week, though.

I'm seriously hoping that all the bad stuff I've been reading about Thinkpad 600 batteries is caused by the design of the battery rather than some funkiness in the laptop design, since I picked up a new 3rd party battery that seems to be working decently for now. I'm tempted to stick Linux on it, but I don't want to since I don't have a copy of any version of Windows on CD anymore in case something goes wrong. :-P If I do end up doing that, though, at least I can anticipate few problems. Since laptops can be tricky sometimes, but within a model you know exactly what 99% of the hardware is, people like writing HOWTO's on how to avoid the problems they encountered. Google gives howto's on installing both Debian and Slackware on my laptop within the first 5 results, even.

Marvel VS Capcom 2 for Dreamcast owns my soul.

Okay. Most of that was at least tangentally related to computer stuff, even though very little of my life has been spent in front of the computer these past few weeks. This sucks. :-P

I can't believe that we're less than two weeks from opening. Yeesh.

I still haven't gotten around to seeing The Terminal. Any takers?

Yeah. For some odd reason, a guy updated their site for years using FrontPage.. and actually charged them for it! DreamWeaver did help a lot for making some changes by hand.

Unfortunately, soon I'm going to have to hack up the FrontPage code by hand now. The main reason why these folks hired me was so I can make an easy GUI interface to adding, removing, and updating pages on their website.
