Every year for the last mainstage show they go through the morbid routine of listing the names of Summer Stagers who have passed on. I was a tad surprised to hear Laura Purdy's name at the end of the list. She was a good acquaintance back when we did Pinocchio in 1998. I guess most of everyone else wasn't surprised, since they had mentioned it at a gala I did not attend earlier in the summer. Still, peculiar.
The next few weeks are going to be programming-heavy. I have to complete the never-ending TSchedule Any Day Now, along with PerlDesk modifications and additions. It will either be very fun or very painful. The last time I touched TSchedule, I was getting very comfortable working with the RubyOnRails classes, so hopefully that confidence hasn't evaporated over the past few weeks. PerlDesk is going to be interesting just because the changes are going to be considerably bigger than the ones I have made in the past.
OK. I believe that's all I have to say.
