|Oh, and life.

I haven't written much about life because I haven't been doing anything spectacularly interesting. This semester, all in all, has been almost completely wasted. On the plus side, though, I did not blow my chances at walking in the Spring. 18 credits next term and then 3 more in the summer, and I am officially out of the sheltered world of academia and into the Real World, where student loan payments and no concrete steady work prospects lie! Huzzah.
Other than that, I've been pretty boring. I've been reading up on RubyOnRails in my spare time and have been growing addictions to House and Adult Swim. I miss the days when I wouldn't watch TV for months at a time. I felt cleaner back then, somehow. When not rotting my brains away, I've had an awful persistent cough that disappears whenever a doctors appointment approaches. Actually, that's a lie. The cough only goes away when a doctor's appointment is near, not when I'm rotting my brains away. I'm convinced I'll live to be 90 and continue to have this cough reoccur every few months. It's gross.
What else? A little over a month ago, Amanda and I celebrated our first year's anniversary. Perhaps "celebrate" is too strong a word. We "observed", and even "respected" the one year anniversary, but it would be a stretch to say we "celebrated". We're both too low key for that. At least, I am.
Other notable events must have occurred in the past two months to a year, but by now they are all old stories to me. Old stories with which I am already bored, so they are not coming to mind. Deepest apologies. I'll try better next time.
